From its sold-out run at the Midtown International Theater Festival 2009, the new-and-improved...
Two Girls
written and performed by Gabrielle Maisels
at the New York International Fringe Festival 2010

Two Girls @ FringeNYC

A friendship blossoms and struggles in the "new" South Africa. Moving in time and place from Mandela's South Africa to Obama's America, two girls from very different worlds -- one black, one Jewish, take on the trauma that apartheid left behind.

Gabrielle Maisels, grandaughter of Advocate Isie Maisels, successful defender of Nelson Mandela in the 1956-61 Treason Trial, performs her remarkable one-woman play.
